Description

Probably mid 18th century. Single storey cottage of
3 irregular bays sited on rising ground. Harl-pointed
red sandstone rubble; ashlar surrounds, stugged and
droved to later window of W gable.
Door off-centre to right on S elevation, with small
windows in outer bays. Small window in E gable, with
blocked window to left.
Lying-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
Pantiles; slate easing course. Distinctive, East Lothian
skew formation. Coped gable end stacks.

Statement of Interest

NW angle set close to SE angle of neighbouring and similarly

early cottage at right angles.
