Description

Probably mid 18th century, with windows altered in 19th
century. 2-storey, 3-bay square-plan house on roadside,
linked to St Mary's at right angles to NE. Pink
sandstone rubble with harl pointing and ashlar window
surrounds; battered base course.
NW ELEVATION: door at centre; windows in flanking bays.
SW ELEVATION: gable elevation to wynd. 3 irregularly
spaced low windows at ground; 1, 1st floor and 1 attic
window, both off-centre to right.
SE ELEVATION: flat-roofed, harled later projection at
centre, flanking windows.
4-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Grey
slates. Ashlar coped skews. Gable end and mutual gable
stacks.
