Description

Earlier 19th century single storey row of farm cottages,
altered and extended later in the century. Random purple
rubble, roughly pointed, with cream droved sandstone
dressings. Originally 6 cottages, now 4.
S ELEVATION: group of 4 symmetrical cottages at centre and
left, with door right of centre now blocked; 2 further
cottages to right, raised by rubble course to give attic with
2 flat roofed dormers, doorways blocked, and 20th century
harled, recessed addition to outer right giving door and
window.
N ELEVATION: irregular openings with brick pentice roofed
and cat slide projections added.
Lying-pane glazing and 4-pane to smaller windows; sash and
case. Piended slate roof. Ridge stacks.
