George Burn, 1797. Single span of circa 83', segmentally
arched bridge. Squared and coursed stone, with bull-faced
dressings to arch ring and parapet. Spanning Dunglass dene.
Remaining sizeable voussoirs currently in dilapidated state;
dentilled string course below crenellated parapet, broken at
intervals by coped piers. Quadrant at S by Dunglass East
Lodge. Simple iron railings set in crenellations.
The second oldest of four bridges spanning the dene at this
point, crossing into Berwickshire. Bilsdean Bridge was
probably also by Burn, as it bears strong similarity.
