Early 19th century. Pair of tall obelisk gatepiers with cluster shafts and corniced necks. Flanked to outer left and right by random rubble quadrant walls with rubble coping.
Colin McWilliam notes that these grand gatepiers, which frame the view of Rosebery Home Farm (see separate listing) when viewed from the drive to Rosebery House (see separate listing), are very similar to the gate piers to Moray House in Edinburgh of two centuries earlier.
