Description

Mausoleum; dated 1700. Square single storey mausoleum, harled
with chamfered ashlar margins. Raised centre entrance in
south elevation approached by wide flight of stone steps;
small rear centre window; larger centre window (blind) in
centre east elevation with re-used worn cill and small
flanking appertures; ogee Caithness slate roof with stone
apex finial and small wrought-iron flag dated 1700.
Interior: plain interior; raised and boarded floor above
vault.
Burial Ground; Simple square walled burial ground with tall
pair rusticated ashlar gate piers of circa 1700 flanking
south entrance with wide moulded cornices and urn finials.
Simple dry stone walls with rough cope. Burial ground full;
tombstones date from 18th-20th centuries.
