Description

Circa 1850. Roofless round tower. Rubble, tooled dressings. Segmental headed doorway at SE with window above; corresponding window NW; string course close below wallhead. Blind cruciform vents. Slight batter; approximately 100' circumference on plan.

Statement of Interest

Built by Major Fraser of Kilmuir. At one time lived in by gamekeeper. Prominent landmark on clifftop above Uig bay.
