Circa 1820. Single-span, round-arched, hump-back bridge spanning burn connecting St Mary's Loch to Loch of the Lowes, with slightly splayed wing walls. Random rubble with rounded coping to low parapet.
A good, early 19th century bridge occupying a very prominent and picturesque position in a scenic landscape. The bridge is shown on Ainslie's map of 1821 but not on Thomson & Johnson's map of 1824. It is possible that the Thomson & Johnson map is not entirely accurate, but does indicate that the bridge was built circa 1820.
