Statement of Interest

Undergoing major restoration. Begun 1984 Loophole with boar's head top and 1561 datestone now returned to Terpersie (1986) "Fine carved chimneypiece installed in great Hall, 1989.

Reminiscent of the work at Huntly Castle, it is said to have come from Lesmore Castle, Rhynie, although latterly was built into a cottage". De-scheduled 23 December 1996.
