Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house, in terrace; formerly with shop. Painted rubble. Painted rubble margins.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door at centre, with letter-box fanlight. Regularly disposed fenestration to both floors; broader window (former shop window) in right bay at ground floor. Very simple cornice and fascia band over centre and right bays at ground floor.

S ELEVATION: adjoined to lower building, No 36 Main Street (see separate listing).

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 40 Main Street (see separate listing).

Modern glazing, in 4-pane pattern. Coped skew to S. Gablehead stacks to N, and broad to S. Modern red tiles. Squat octagonal cans.
