1909. Elliptical-arched railway bridge offset over road. Brick arch ring supporting mass concrete spandrels. 5 courses of brick with angled details at arch springings; pre-cast concrete skewbacks; mass concrete spandrels and wing walls; coped concrete parapet wall.
This was one of the last new lines to be built in Scotland (other than short links). The bridge represents the end of arch bridge construction for railway purposes.
