Description

Earlier 19th century with later additions. 2-storey 3-bay house with single storey M-roofed service buildings to rear. Red sandstone rubble, painted ashlar margins.

E (FRONT) ELEVATION: symmetrical, 2-storey 3-bay; boarded door at centre with 4-pane letterbox fanlight; flanking windows; 1st floor windows to all bays, under eaves.

S ELEVATION: end gable to right, blank with window to right at ground, apex stack. Later single storey range slightly set back to left; large modern kitchen window at centre, modern door with letterbox fanlight to right; cast-iron rooflights.

W ELEVATION: irregular M-roofed service blocks; later right gable blank, gable to left lower with window at far right. Apex stacks.

N ELEVATION: blank 2-storey gable to left with window at ground to left; apex stack. 2 single storey bays slightly set back to right, window to each bay.

12-pane timber sash and case windows to main block. Grey slates, brick stacks (main ones rendered).

Hoop wrought-iron fence enclosing front garden and as coping to low rubble wall to N.
