Description

1934 church in Scots composite Romanesque - 15th century revival style: round arches plus crow-steps, rock-faced ashlar, slate roof. Design owes much to Peter MacGregor Chalmers' works and Lorimer's St Margaret's, Glasgow. Rectangular-plan, pair tall round-headed windows in liturgical west gable, 2-storey crow-stepped entrance tower at 'west' end of 'south' wall, shallow transept at 'east' and flat-roofed low range beyond.
