Description

Probably late 1860s, for Sir John Fowler, engineer. Masonry vaulted chamber about 12m by 5.5m, 5m high, with short arched entrance passage flanked by wing walls.

Statement of Interest

Category B for association with Fowler, one of the most notable of Victorian engineers. House now demolished.
