Sir John James Burnet, dated 1900. Single storey, L-plan bungalow. Harled brick, tooled red sandstone dressings, slate roof, terracotta ridge tiles. Windows multi-pane to top, larger pane casements to bottom, prominent cills and lintels; bracketted eaves; crowstepped gables; coped stacks with squat terracotta cans.
FRONT ELEVATION: 2 bays advanced to left; door to right, window to left. Gable advanced to right, tripartite window, inscribed panel above 'AD 1900', window to left return. Left return gable: stepped outshot stack, window. Right return elevation: door, stack rising through eaves.
REAR ELEVATION: 2 windows to left.
INTERIOR: plain, corniced doorcases only remaining original features. BOUNDARY WALL: rubble boundary wall to front.
