Description

Early 19th century. 2-arch stone-built bridge with subsidiary arch to W, spanning River Bladnoch on B733 at Kirkcowan/Penninghame parish boundaries. Segmental arch spans, V-cutwater buttresses to each side. Granite spandrels, voussoirs, soffit, springers and cutwaters dressed granite. Coped granite parapet. Brick voussoirs to subsidiary arch.

Bridge Strengthend 1993 re-painted parapet raised.
