Description

Circa 1900. Single storey and attic, irregular-plan villa. Bull-faced red sandstone coursers, stugged ashlar dressings, piended and gabled grey slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles. Timber sash and case windows, mostly single pane to bottom and multi-pane to top, 8-pane to tripartites at 1st floor, half-timbered gables, ashlar-coped shouldered dormerheads, corniced and coped stacks, cast-iron rainwater goods.

FRONT (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay; door to centre with window and projecting window to left under slate canopy roof, small window to upper floor over door, dormerhead to left, gable advanced to right with windows to ground and upper floor.

LEFT RETURN ELEVATION (FACING ROAD): bipartite window to right, dormerhead above, gable advanced to left with 5-light window to ground

floor, tripartite to upper floor.

REAR ELEVATION: not seen.

INTERIOR: not seen.

WALL AND GATEPIERS: low saddleback-coped wall with metal railings, ashlar gatepiers and timber gates.
