An ancient mansion formerly the seat of the Cunninghame
family, earls of Glencairn - West end consists of a ruined
keep; eastern portion is a 17th century dwelling, now a
farmhouse - T shape on plan, square wing projecting to
rear containing staircase; front creamwashed 1 storey and
raised flat dormers, 3 small windows, centre doorway;
ridge roof, crowstepped gables, skews.
