Description

Circa 1830. Single storey, L-plan gate lodge. Sandstone
rubble with droved ashlar dressings; base course to E;
Chamfered reveals and quoins; hoodmoulds.
Stone porch set in re-entrant angle to E with ashlar
coping; panelled door; narrow window flanking to right;
windows in gabled end elevations with blank panels
above. Near contemporary flat-roofed, lean-to projection
at rear.
Diamond-pane glazing pattern; casement windows.
Decorative bargeboarding to E gable; overhanging eaves.
Ridge stack.
