Description

Presumably circa 1815. 2-storey row of 5 houses (including
a shop); each 3 bays with central door (additional door in
subdivided house): end houses each have piended additional
bay. Rubble-built with ashlar margins; Lochinvar with painted
margins, rusticated quoins, 1st floor cill and eaves/lintel
bands; No 2 is harled; remainder limewashed/painted rubble.
Each outer door of row has porch: other doors with fanlights
(2 decorative): mostly small-paned sash windows: straight
skews: corniced end stacks: most roofs slated (others
tiled). Garden area in front of houses mostly enclosed by
rubble-built walls.
