Description

Circa 1770; re-erected on present side circa 1970. Single
storey octagonal-plan former lodge, now a summerhouse/study.
Rendered, with ashlar margins, eaves course, cornice and
blocking course: sash windows with octagon-patterned
glazing; door to east face. Corniced octagonal apex stack;
facetted slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Originally one of a pair of identical lodges to Mollance

House; the other now re-sited at Portrack, Holywood. A third

lodge, a modern replica, has since been built to the south

east of Glenkiln House, thus again forming a pair.
