Description

Kinnear & Peddie. Drawings dated 1882. Single storey L-plan
lodge. Squared and snecked rubble with red ashlar dressings
and chamfered reveals. West elevation: advanced gable at left
with canted ground floor window and attic bipartite; lower
wing to right has roof swept over door in re-entrant angle
and verandah; off-centre gabled opening to latter, on wooden
columns, and balustrade. Bipartite in South gable. Simple
barge boards; 2 tall, coped stacks; graded slate roof.
Panelled square, ashlar gatepiers with ball finials on raised
caps; carved, low ashlar-coped, snecked rubble quadrant
walls; decorative wrought-iron gates and railings.
