Early 19th century. 2 storeys, 3 bays, set on slope with
basement at east, adjoining former smithy extends north:
modern 2-bay addition to west gable. Painted rubble and
margins (addition is painted brick). South elevation: inner
entrance bay advanced and gabled, flight of steps to 1st
floor door in left re-entrant angle; 4-pane sashes; ground
stacks; roofed with uniform slates. Hand over pump east
gable, 2 plaques above, window and loft light. Smithy has
wide, 2-leaf door to east and small-paned window; wall-head
stacks, and high, piended roof.
