Earlier 19th century with mid 19th century alterations. 2-
storey 3-bay farmhouse with flanking single bay wings,
forming H-plan. Whitewashed rubble, contrasting painted
margins. South elevation: square central porch between ground
floor bipartites; end stacks; each wing has round-headed
window opening in similar shallow panel; left wing 2 storeys,
with 2-bay west elevation; sash windows, mostly with
horizontal glazing pattern (west-facing ground floor windows
enlarged). Roofed with graded slates. Courtyard elevation
has swept-roofed outshot linked to wings by low bays.
Plans and elevations in NMRS show wings having square-
headed ground floor windows without panels.
