Possibly by J C Loudon. Early 19th century. Gothic show front to late 18th century stable block, 4 ranges of buildings set out around a courtyard. Part now residential and regrettably altered. Rubble built with granite dressings. Show front 5 buttressed bays with central bay gabled with depressed-arched pend to ground, oculus in gable head. To other bays, single light windows with hoodmoulds, formerly bipartite with mullions, now blocked to right. To left of pend, large vehicle entrance has been slapped through. Deep plain parapet. To left of gable tall octagonal stack, probably one of a pair flanking the gable. To rear, single storey stables and cartsheds, 3 basket-arched cart-arches with granite voussoirs. Roofs partly good graded slates, partly corrugated asbestos.
