Description

Earlier/mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay farmhouse with
full-height rear (N) wing. Whin rubble with contrasting
walling at N. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Harled, with painted
ashlar dressings.
S ELEVATION: central boarded door with fanlight and consoled
pedimented hood; sash windows with 12-pane galzing; shaped
skews; end stacks with corniced octagonal flues; roofed with
graded slates. Rear wing perhaps originally single storey
and with W-facing door.
STEADING: asymmetrical ranges all whitewashed rubble and
ashlar; parallel blocks flanking courtyard; low range with
implement shed, tall block 2 storeys and with bothy/former
farmhouse.
