Later 19th century. Quadrangular garden enclosure; ashlar-
coped rubble-built and brick-lined buttressed walls; lean-to
glass-house range against N wall and against outer face of S
wall. Latter range extends full-length.
Square, polished ashlar GATEPIERS at W end with ball-finialed
pyramidal caps; modern wrought-iron gates. Single storey and
attic 3-bay brick-built GARDENER'S COTTAGE at NW end of garden
with polychrome dressings; W elevation: segmental-arched ground
floor openings; off-centre door with fanlight behind gabled
porch, latter barge-boarded, and supported on slender columns,
window in wall-head gable above; single window to right bay,
bipartite left. Piended slate roof.
