SPANISH COTTAGE: earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, piend-roofed cottage. Rubble with raised dressed quoin strips and margins.
N ELEVATION: advanced gabled bay to centre with window (former door?) in moulded surround, tiny window in gablehead and further windows in flanking bays. Modern veranda (see below) to right of centre.
W ELEVATION: window in bay to left of centre and modern 2-leaf small-pane door to right. Full-width modern veranda on timber posts and dwarf walls.
E AND N ELEVATIONS: not seen 1999.
Small-pane horizontal glazing patterns; all windows with external louvered shutters. Grey slates. Dressed ashlar polygonal ridge stacks. Overhanging eaves with carved bargeboards.
DATIE MILL: 18th century. Piended and pantiled, rubble, single and 2-storey, L-plan mill with diamond-pattern casement windows.
Spanish Cottage was formerly listed as Datie Mill Cottage. Datie Mill was originally spelt Daughty's Mill.
