Before 1828. Main part very large 2-storey 3-window harled
margins, granite base, course and eaves course. Door deeply
recessed. Fanlight, original woodwork, 2-window gables with 2
attic windows, big coped chimneys; square stair projection at
back. Low 2-storey back wing perhaps earlier, piended N.
gable; roof swept down to lean-to W. side.
Associated with the former woollen mill which closed in 1828
and of which no remains are in evidence.
