1766. Low single storey rubble building formerly comprised of byre, school and schoolhouse. 2 windows in S elevation, 2 in N. Loft entrance in W gable (blocked); blocked and segmental arch and door with swept roof to principal elevation of byre; slated roof to former byre

School formerly thatched; the corrugated-iron laid in 1952. The schoolroom had a clay floor. Served as a shop after the neighbouring school was built; now a store.
