Late 18th century. Rubble, coped parapets with groove for railings, splayed back walls at approaches, droved corner dressings. Later repair work in brick. Segmental main arch to River Eden, droved voussoirs, triangular cut-waters with battered copings on west side, higher-set subsidiary arches to sides for flood levels.
Partly in collessie Parish. River Eden was embanked by Mr Johnstone of Lathrisk and a "straight channel cut about 1787".
