Late 16th century, L-plan, with tower added at SE 17th century producing U-plan S front; 3-storey and attic rubble built, corbelled turret stair in W re-entrant angle, stone roofed corbelled turret SW; stair turret at centre N corbelled to square at top, upper part remodelled with lean-to roof 18th century. Vaulted ground floor, E half has basement.
Consent for restoration of original L-plan house and demolition of SE 17th century addition 1968. Former item 491 (Pitcullo House, C Wilson 1852) almost completely demolished and item 492 deleted.
