Built for Sir William Bruce 1546, 3-storey and attic L-plan with stair turret in angle and oval tower at NE. Rubble-built, vaulted ground floor, hall at 1st, painted gallery dated 1617 and 1620 at 2nd. W. screen wall with gateway and Bruce coat of arms links to small 3-storey 16th century L-plan tower with single-storey and attic 17th century range attached, ('Dummy Daws'). Restored 1891 R S Lorimer for RWR. Mackenzie, east balustrade of court, curb to drawwell & c.
