Shortly after 1812, probably extended a little later. 2-storey and basement asymmetrical, 4-window and central canted bay to S, east section set back; west (entrance) front has 3-window bow and cast iron balcony feature; whin rubble, droved freestone dressings and margins, diagonal shafts of chimneys replaced by Victorian fireclay columnar pots.
Built for Mrs Melville who acquired the property in that year.
