Description

Circa 1871, possibly A Marshall Mackenzie. T-plan range with
single storey, 3-bay E facing rectangular hall, with small
single storey and attic dwelling projecting at right angles
from W elevation; 2-storey drumtower, with entrance in base,
in NW re-entrant angle. Rubble with tooled ashlar dressings.
Centre gabled porch with pointed-headed entrance in E
elevation flanked by windows each with centre wooden mullion.
3 long pointed-headed windows in N gable and pair similar
lights in S; decorative honeycomb glazing; plank door with
local wrought iron decorative hinges.
Entrance to dwelling with similar door and single flanking
window; dormer in S elevation; 4-pane glazing. End stack
crowsteps; slate roofs, fishscale slates to conical tower
roof.
