Description

1844. Early English style, nave with aisles and south-east
tower. Rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins. Central door
under pointed moulded head with flanking single lights.
Tripartite lancets above with hood-moulds and raised central
light, oculus in gable, gable-head cross. South-east tower
square, 2 stages, with broached stone facetted spire, banded
at top, and weather-vane. 1st stage, single hood moulded
lancets, angle buttresses. Set back to 2nd stage, paired
louvred openings to south, single on other faces. 6-bay nave,
5-bay aisles with simple lancets, door in south-west nave
return with quatre foil over.
Projecting lower single gabled bay to north west. Slate roof
with louvred gablets.
