Circa 1840. Single-storey and attic, T-plan house with wide
elevation to south. Harled with tooled ashlar margins.
Entrance in centre of rear gable, masked by later lean-to
timber porch with side entrance and wide transomed and
mullioned window with lattice pane glazing. Later bipartite
in ground floor of rear wing and single gabled dormer above
(probably late 19th century). Pair gabled dormers in front
elevation, which has later single storey extension. 4-pane
glazing; coped ridge stack; slate roof projecting at eaves
with simple bargeboards returning at gable angles to suggest
broken pediments.
Walled garden: large rubble walled garden on south facing
slope behind gardener's cottage. Canted north wall, with
arched entrance east and west. Centre entrance in south wall
closed by wrought-iron gate.
Single storey wing to W the former Factor's office for
Dochfour Estate. Presently part of that estate but not always
so.
