Description

Early 19th century octagonal 2-storey Gothic gazebo/tower
now surrounded by modern single storey wings forming dwelling
house. Harled with contrasting painted detailing. Crenellated
wallhead rising from corbel table; 3 1st floor pointed-headed
windows in N and W facets with intersecting glazing in top
lights of sash windows.
Modern ground floor fenestration.

Statement of Interest

Tower site formerly in grounds of Raigmore house (now

demolished). Commanding view over Inverness and neighbourhood.

Modern dwelling house not included in listing.
