Dated 1804. Tall 2-storey, 3-bay south facing house; white
harled with tooled (white painted) ashlar margins. Centre
door masked by later projecting canted porch with front
window and side entrance Single ground and 1st floor east
gable windows; 4-pane glazing; 2 large skylights in front.
Single storey later rear extension with continuous catslide
roof extends full length of rear elevation with further
centre entrance flanked by windows. End stacks; substantial
wallhead stack serves rear extension; slate roofs.
Date inscribed on SE skewputt. Front skylights probably
replace dormers.
Built by James Anderson who developed the Rispond Fishing
Station, (Durness Parish, Sutherland late 18th/early 19th
century.
