Description

Mid-late 18th century, 2-storey, 3-bay house with centre
door; harl pointed rubble. Small centre gablet with
apex stack; ground and 1st floor (blocked) windows in west
gable, together with diminutive attic window. 12-pane
glazing, later rear single storey extension runs full length
of north elevation under cat-slide roof. Further single
storey gabled rear wing. End stacks; Caithness slate roof.
Interior; little of interest, but panelled window
shutters.

Statement of Interest

Now empty, but lived in until late 1960's. Used for storage.

Said to have served as Free Church Manse immediately after

1843 Disruption until (now former) Free Church Manse was

built in 1865.
