Pair early 19th century rubble navigation beacons.

in ground and 1st stage; recess in NE side with seat; plain
string course and cornice encircles upper stage; 4 stumpy
round angle pinnacles.
Upper beacon; short round rubble tower on plinth, with

aids for safe entry into Berriedale shore when lined one
against the other by boat at sea They stand one behind the
other on cliff top. Seated recess would afford shelter when
watching for boats.
