Description

1846. Alterations, Ross & Joass, 1859. T-plan church; harled.

Projecting gabled wing in centre north elevation with wide

centre doorway, double leaf plank door and round-headed

fanlight with intersecting tracery, flanked by long,

round-headed windows, 1 smaller above. Single round-headed

windows light north elevation, and 4 similar symmetrically

placed in south elevation All windows long, with thick

centre wooden mullion, terminating in simple Y-tracery,

with multi-pane glazing. Slate roof.

Modern single storey lean-to extension to east and west gables. Interior; galleried interior, 5-sided gallery supported on

cast-iron column with acanthus leaf decoration to capitals;

original pulpit and fittings.
