Mid 18th century; all harled except No 4 which is painted rubble. 2 mirrored rows of 2 storeys 6 bays, each row having 4 dwellings. 6 symmetrical small 1st floor windows; both houses at south end of terrace consist of 3 bays with centre door, doors now masked with later projecting gabled porches. Mostly 4-pane glazing, though some 12-pane survives. Regular ridge stacks; piended slate roof.
Said to be former Officers' quarters of Bernera Barracks.
