Description

Mid 19th century, imposing entrance lodge complex; all

tooled coursed rubble-tooled and polished ashlar dressings.

Large 2-storey drum tower dwelling, with deep corbelled and

crenellated parapet and wallhead stack; single storey, single bay extension to rear with shallow piended roof, linked to

tower by rear entrance porch. Paired at opposite side of

drive entrance by single stage drum tower, similarly

detailed. 4 intervening round ashlar gate piers on square

bases with square caps and attenuated polished red

granite ball finials. Pair cast-iron carriage gates,

matching flanking pedestrian gates, all with spearhead

decoration.

Coursed, squared rubble flanking walls with shaped ashlar

copes.
