Dated 1829, and 1886. 3 single storey and attic and
2-storey ranges linked to make irregular building. Mainly
coursed rubble with tooled dressings, with contrasting
painted margins and reveals. Centre portion dated 1829, 3
bays with centre door and 3 large gabled dormers with
exaggerated scroll skewputts. 2-storey, 3-bay block
adjoins north gable with enlarged ground floor windows
and substantial stone brackets supporting projecting roof
at gable ends, with inset Sutherland/Stafford coats of
arms and dated 1829.
Further single storey and attic range (dated 1886) set
back at south; lying pane, margined and 4-pane glazing.
Single and paired octagonal corniced end stacks; slate
roofs.
Modern glazed single storey entrance porch/sun lounge in
south re-entrant.
Formerly Aberdeen Town and County Bank.
Sutherland/Stafford Arms inset in front; dormer pediments
initialled MS and ES.
