Description

Later 19th century, style of Alexander Ross. Additions and
repairs, 1889. Single storey (with attic to rear) T-plan
school with wide 4-bay frontage to street with projecting
gabled entrance bay and gabled chimney. Red rubble with
ashlar dressings. Pointed arched tripartites to right and
left; original Gothic 2-light window in north gable; enlarged
window south gable. Blind quatrefoils to porch and front
chimney, with crest to porch. Some lattice glazing. Wing to
rear with piended dormer; gable end stacks; slate roof.
Rubble wall surrounds playground.
