Small rectangular building, red sandstone rubble, with piended slated roof. Symmetrical elevations, blind to rear and sides, built over burn which it brindges.
Formerly powered by a wind pump. In poor state of repair, 1992. An avenue of trees follows a line to the E of this wash house, terminated by a pair of gatepiers, apparently a former drive, now redundent.
