Description

Possibly William Young, late 19th century. Single storey lodge, squared and coursed stugged cream sandstone with ashlar dressings, base course and band course, stone mullions to bipartites with chamfered reveals. Entrance to centre; round arched, keystoned doorway at centre with pilaster jambs, set within pilastered and block-pedimented panel; panelled round-arched door. Bipartite to right, bay-window to left in pedimented tetrastyle form with ashlar piers and narrow windows. Bipartites to side elevations and rear. Grey slates to piended platform roof, broad decoratively bracketed eaves, corniced ashlar stacks.
