Description

Late 18th century house with later alterations to frontage circa 1885. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay house. Stugged squared and snecked grey sandstone, painted margins and band course, stop chamfered arrises. Entrance to centre with panelled door and bordered fanlight. Single window to right at ground, canted bay to left with cornice and blocking course. 3 windows at 1st floor. 2 piend-roofed slate hung canted dormers to attic. U-plan stair tower to rear, adjoining to left of centre with conical slated roof; irregular and altered fenestration and brick symmetrical arch to doorway. Sash and case windows, 12- and 4-pane glazing patterns. Grey slates, ashlar coped mutual gable skews and stacks, decorative cans to left. Low ashlar coped wall enclosing small front garden.
