Originally 1699, John Grinton and Robert Telford wright and
masons, single-storey to road, 2-storey on south, 2-window
and centre door schoolhouse on west and 2-window school on
east; structurally intact, rubble with partially droved
dressings, very small fenestration, broad skews with end
stacks but harled over with modern French tile roof.
Former Town o' Currie School. Inscription records building
for Thomas Craig of Riccarton at cost of 500 marks.
